Coming to the Bridge on 5th October

This is our flagship pro night where some of the countires top stand up comedians take to the stage and we have a fantastic night of laughs infront of a warm, appreciative audience.

Each pro gig we run has an opening act doing 20 minutes at the start. 2 established newer acts in the middle doing shorter spots of about 10 minutes. Closing the show is a nationally recognised circuit headliner. Our resident MC, Tony Jameson, is always on hand to ensure the night runs smoothly.

Headliner: Nathan Caton

Nathan has taken the comedy circuit by storm, including TV appearances on 'Mock The Week', 'FHM Stand Up Hero', and the 'Nathan Caton Show' on Paramount.

Caton’s first Edinburgh show in 2009 entitled Can’t Tell Me Nothin’ got him rave reviews from critics including The Guardian, EdFest and Three Weeks and earned him guest writing spots with BBC Radio. A year later he took his second show to the festival Breakfast At Stephanie’s. This year saw him perform his third show 'Get Rich or Die Crying'.

Nathan now continues to gig around the country and is also working on his own BBC Radio 4 series based on his successful debut Edinburgh show.
