The Bridge Hotel, Newcastle

This is our flagship venue, and has been our home since we started in February 2008...

If a great location is what you’re after, then The Bridge Hotel offers one of the most spectacular in Newcastle. Just two minutes walk from Grey Street and the Quayside, and right next door to the Castle Keep and the High Level bridge, you’ll find stunning views of the River Tyne from both the pub and outdoor terrace.

Built on a medieval site, the Bridge Hotel is a traditional venue boasting quiet secluded areas, cosy Victorian snugs, wooden panelling and carved fittings, together with stained glass windows and highly detailed mosaics.

The atmosphere is just as impressive, and the friendly staff offer a true local Tyneside welcome to huge variety of customers who visit the venue for its history, its impressive programme of live entertainment, its outstanding reputation for serving a huge choice of cask ale, and its mouthwatering menus.

As You Like It, Jesmond

Ladies and gentlemen, please say a big hello to the newest member of The Laughing Penguin family.

We're delighted to announce that we're now running a monthly show at As You Like It in Jesmond.

As You Like It is set over 3 sprawling floors, featuring 4 stunning bars, an elegant garden terrace, Jesmond's most beautiful restaurant, the City's best bar menu, "The Supper Club" (open til 2am Friday and Saturday), and the unique "Fragipani" where we host the comedy in an extraordinary room. 

As You Like It also offers fantastic food, which, if purchased on the evening of the show, allows you free entry to the comedy downstairs. Come along and have a look. We're sure you'll love it as much as we do.
